Every day will be different for a substitute teacher. Assignments vary based on the school and the need, from 7th grade Social Studies to full-day Pre-School. Every experience is unique and full of learning opportunities for both the substitute teacher and the students.
Gadsden Elementary School District #32 offers an opportunity once a year for individuals to become certified substitute teachers in our district. The training is a three-day event which prepare future substitute teachers to step into our classroom, understand the curriculum, and be ready to provide instruction. Out substitute teacher training is a unique experience that aims to provide a strong foundation for individuals looking to support our students and teachers across the district.
