the students dreaming reminds me that in NFL history about the challenge themselves that think the unthinkable therefore the achieve the impossible and I really believe that I believe that if we can get our soon-to-be free and creativity to be safe and their challenges they will achieve what we right now believed to be impossible for them to do you don't really expect to see many gifted people around here I mean it's Mexican Community Resources mostly migrant Farm Workers and I mean it's not really a place you go to find are people with the numbers prove it wrong this is a place that sends people to cty year after year and it's been going on for over 20 years I think what really makes this place special is the people the president of the association is what you're doing and it's not supposed to happen if you know in reality you know doing are amazing and they're not supposed to happen we don't tell our kids if they're low income we don't tell our kids that they are low socioeconomic we don't tell those kids we could do we make sure that the kids understand that they're important and that's the most important thing in communities all around the United States there the Talon is there what makes in my mind so many special is that we have the drive we have that hunger lesbians are dating my parents are my grandma never learned how to read or write but I have the opportunity and what I can do is be the best that I can be I know that I am making a difference and not only but also immigrants and Mexican American we identify our kids at an early age can we play act courses we do owe the after-school tutoring 100% convinced that this is our mission so you know you might have to go new techniques or curriculum in place or anything like that but if you are not committed 100% to a project like this might as well don't even started we're talkin calculus classes in engineering classes if you take my classes what a year going to be ready in college or in high school tell me do we can do anything we want we can bring him do anything that we want a man that I think I have the best job in the world because I have some students, coming to me and telling me things like that I see myself as a motivator I motivate my students I came here speak a word of English but maybe sexual for to teach me like a dance mat even like 7th grade 8th grade Sol to me from all the other classes where I can understand anything I can understand number so it to me house at Universal language so the area was I feel so comfortable with it that I said you know from now on I'm going to do something that relates to this cuz I'm and I want to the top schools Harvard Columbia and I excelled I got a little brother can stop at what I did to you need to get it to go to medical school I'm succeeding I feel like I influenced me as a person and it's just not get affected from all the stereotypes that we have in this world they see me as a Mexican speaking Spanish we all came here if it was us or parents or grandparents with a purpose and I think we're fulfilling that purpose in that this thing I think we're making a difference that will not continue making a difference we have left nnn lease like stay together pictures of family so the more educated we are the more things we accomplished tickets for the whole community the world is changing is changing and that means that the treasures of this country are being redefined the population is being redefined we keep talking about the Latino immigrants when reality thinking Arizona to 85% of 1500 children were born here we're not talking about immigrants were talking about the new America and this is not tomorrow's America this is today's America Trilogy word who are we hotels is that and how much are we worth so we really look to see who we are we will discover that these bright minds are the treasure that were sitting on
